Kate Moss for Topshop

After 4 years of anticipation, Kate Moss is at it again with her 15th collection for Topshop.  “The Icon Is Back” according to Topshop’s website. Moss described this collection as a “wardrobe autobiography”; she drew most of her inspiration for the line from pieces in her own closet. Moss told Harpers Bazaar, “With this collection we had more time, so we could really be selective about the pieces that are included. Each one is a statement piece.” The collection features 40 items from heavily detailed evening wear to luxurious silky pajama pieces to printed wide leg trousers. The craftsmanship was something Moss was really specific on. The collection incorporates soft suede, silk chiffons from London, lace from India, fringe and hand beaded sequin details. The prices range from $76-$1,200 and the collection is available in store and online at Topshop, Nordstrom, Net-a-Porter and shopBAZAAR.com. Check out the look book below modeled by Kate Moss herself, of course.

Watch Out!

Untitled #47

What better way to tell time than by strapping an awesome watch to your wrist? Pick up a brightly colored one, or stick to the classics with gold, silver, or black.

Ugh, As If

Untitled #46

One of the greatest movies of all time (at least in my humble opinion) is Clueless. The 1995 movie starring Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, and Brittany Murphy (RIP!) is full of fabulous ’90s fashion, hilarious quotes, and cringe-worthy scenarios (may I remind you of the scene where Cher’s BFF Dionne almost kills them on the freeway with her horrendous driving).  Take a page from Cher Horowitz’s book by throwing on some plaid, a button-up sweater, Mary Janes, and if you’re brave, a black beret.

Fashionable Fringe

Fashionable Fringe
Fringe, fringe, fringe! I love it all! It gives such a graceful look to anyone who wears it by emphasizing the natural movement of the body. You could wear fringe shoes, shorts, skirts, dresses, accessorize with bags or even with jewelry! The possibilities are endless!

Obsessed with Overalls

Untitled #45

Back in the ’90s, I rocked a pair of yellow overalls that had purple flowers embroidered all over them. It might not have been my proudest moment, but hey, I was only six. Overalls are no longer reserved for just children and farmers. They’ve evolved from baggy and unflattering to sleek and fabulous. As long as you avoid pairing overalls with a flannel shirt à la Old MacDonald, you’re set. Snatch up a stylish pair and accessorize with cool sneakers or heels, eye-catching jewelry, or just a plain white tank.

Hats Off to You

Untitled #42

Whether you’re in desperate need to cover up a bad hair day, want to keep the sun off your face, or just want to shake up your look, hats can be your best friend!

Sweet, Sweet, Skater Skirt

I am loving this new fashion of skater skirts! They are so adorable and can be dressed up or down in many different ways. Below I have a few outfit options to pair with a cute skater skirt! However, definitely not all the possibilities!
