…and I can’t wait!!! Yes, I was one of those people that texted everyone she knew and stalked Twitter for updates. How does this relate to fashion? Modern, royal, gorgeous, stylish woman gives birth to baby with an unlimited clothing budget = fashion news. Finally, someone’s gonna kick Suri out of the tabloids! If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, well, that was a very long nap you were taking.
As for the baby’s clothes, undoubtedly, its socks will cost what half of my closet is worth.

Statement necklaces and bracelets have been circulating the fashion world for a while now, and now it’s time for the earrings to join the party! Statement earrings are a fabulous accessory for all of your holiday outfits this season. Simple dress? Dress it up with these! Sparkly dress? Statement earrings. Loud print? They can still work (just coordinate your colors)!

High-fashion retail websites have been quite popular for the past several years. Sites such as Gilt and Rue La La have inundate our inboxes on a daily basis. It’s always fun to browse, but on a college-gal budget, the $1,800 Chanel bag reduced from $2,200 (a steal), is still out of a reach. Sigh. One day!
Well now there’s another luxury site with a twist—Vaunte.com! It’s consignment-style. Clothes will be sold literally off the backs of New York City’s elite—from socialites to fashion editors…which is sort of cool…and sort of weird. I’m not sure how comfortable I feel wearing Ana Wintour’s Alexander McQueen jacket when she’s still kickin’ it—maybe in 50 years when it’s vintage. How strange the fashion mind works!
If you’re interested in being a member of Vaunte, hopefully you’re highly connected to the rich and/or famous because it’s invite-only. And once you’re in, you can only invite two people who are required to be as chic as you are so choose wisely! Apparently, high school never ends…at least in the fashion world.

Tweed has been popping up here and there in the fashion mags and on the celebs for the past few months, and I kinda like it! Originally, I just reserved tweed for Elle Woods and those attending law school, but tweed is actually quite functional; there’s a way to fit it into your outfit, no matter your style. A tweed blazer and jeans is a trademark of fall fashion after all!

If you haven’t heard that T Swift has a new album out…well, there’s just no way you haven’t heard. She’s everywhere! And whether you’re a fan of the country/pop singer or not, you must admit, she has quite the style. Gone are the sundress/cowboy boot outfits. Swift has become a big fan of primary colors and vintage style. And of course, she’s rarely without her bright red lipstick, which is a much more accessible trademark than cowboy boots!

H&M is all about the celebrity and high-fashion designer pairings. They’ve done it again with Belgian fashion label Martin Margiela, which will be in stores on November 15. The collection was revealed on Tuesday at a party in a 19th century, falling-down office building near City Hall in New York. While the setting might not sound too glamorous, rest assured the attendees were. Celebs included: Julianne Moore, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mena Suvari, Helena Christensen and Kanye West.
Alan Cumming compares the fashion line to ObamaCare: “It gives more people more access to things normally available only to the very rich.”
Very rich indeed! A tuxedo jacket by the mysterious designer usually has a price tag of $3,600. But in H&M, you can find it for $200. Bargain.
Not many images have been released yet, but here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come to H&M.

I think this obsession will definitely last longer than a week, but it’s certainly one of my favorites right now! The casual ankle boot is a go-to item for fall. No longer are riding boots the only fall and winter boot of choice. You can dress the ankle boot up with tights and a dress or pair it with jeans and cardigans for a more casual look.
