After 4 years of anticipation, Kate Moss is at it again with her 15th collection for Topshop. “The Icon Is Back” according to Topshop’s website. Moss described this collection as a “wardrobe autobiography”; she drew most of her inspiration for the line from pieces in her own closet. Moss told Harpers Bazaar, “With this collection we had more time, so we could really be selective about the pieces that are included. Each one is a statement piece.” The collection features 40 items from heavily detailed evening wear to luxurious silky pajama pieces to printed wide leg trousers. The craftsmanship was something Moss was really specific on. The collection incorporates soft suede, silk chiffons from London, lace from India, fringe and hand beaded sequin details. The prices range from $76-$1,200 and the collection is available in store and online at Topshop, Nordstrom, Net-a-Porter and shopBAZAAR.com. H&M has recently announced their next (and first American) collaboration will be with Alexander Wang. Wang announced this collection of clothing and accessories for both women and men over Instagram. To continue the promotion, Iggy Azalea performed with the “Wang X HM” banner above the stage at this years Coachella music festival. Alexander Wang is one of the hottest top notch designers and also the creative director for Balenciaga. “This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle”, Wang stated. This collection will be unveiled to around 250 stores worldwide and online on November 6, 2014. I can’t wait for this line and i’m sure others around the world are highly anticipating it too!

Karl Lagerfeld didn’t fail to amaze us with Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2014 show at Paris Fashion Week. He transformed the Grand Palais into “Chanel Shopping Center”, an extraordinary supermarket with aisles of Chanel branded products (including real groceries that guests took home after the show). The aisles of the supermarket became the runway and the models didn’t just walk, they shopped around with carts as if they were grocery shopping on a normal day. Notable models included Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Rihanna. The Chanel collection featured normal, every day looks including sporty pieces with added uber chic accessories. The innovative fashion show turned errand run instantly became an Instagram frenzy, and ended with an overhead announcement ” Thank you valued Chanel customers, the show has now ended”.
