Relax this break with a DIY detox bath

Sometimes we need to take a little time for ourselves. This Thanksgiving break is a perfect time to focus on yourself and give your body some extra attention. Treat yourself to a long, hot detox bath this break.  A detox bath is incredibly healthy for both your body and your mind. Just add a handful of epson salts, a few drops of lavender essential oil, two cups of baking soda, 1 tbsp of ground ginger, & 1 cup of apple cider vinegar to running hot water. You will sweat a lot during the bath, this just means its working! The benefits: draws out toxins, lowers stress related hormones, balances pH levels, increases circulation, and soothes and softens the skin. Stay in at least 45 minutes and drink plenty of water. This is an easy, relaxing way to give your body extra health benefits it needs!

    I love detox baths! I go super-basic with just sea salt and baking soda — but it’s enough for me, and better than any skin treatment I’ve ever had!
