It seems that every celebrity and designer on the planet has concocted a perfume, hoping to bring in big bucks. Well, here’s a perfume launch to actually get excited about: Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, along with a perfumer named Annie Buzantian, have created the brand’s first fragrance.
The scent has been dubbed Parfume d’Extase, which, for those of us who aren’t cool enough to speak French, translates into Scent of Ecstasy. Top notes of iris, freesia, and violet leaves combine with jasmine, iris root, ambrox, and musk to achieve olfactive perfection.
There will be two eau de parfum sizes to choose from: either 30 ml for $60 or 50 ml for $85. A rollerball form will also be available for $25.
320 Sephora boutiques and 370 Sephora counters within JCPenney stores will carry the fragrance come September. Sephora.com will begin selling Parfume d’Extase on August 24. For more information, visit fashionweekdaily.com.
