Lana Del Rey has taken the music industry by storm and the fashion world has taken notice. British heritage brand Mulberry decided to name one of their sought-after bags after the up-and-coming songstress. Creative Director Emma Hill stated in a press release that she was so “captivated by her soulful, melancholy voice and the nostalgic beauty of her Video Games single and video,” that she felt compelled to create a bag in her honor. The ‘Del Rey’ debuted on the runway Sunday during London Fashion Week. Mulberry’s fall collection itself was inspired by Where The Wild Things Are. Lana attended the show carrying a custom white ostrich version of the tote designed especially for her — white is autumn’s new “it” color after all. The coveted purse comes in different variations of tanned leather and will be available for purchase in May along with the rest of the fall line. Pricing begins at $1,250.
