Google Shop

Google is working closely with the fashion industry this Wednesday, November 17th by launching Boutiques.com.

This site will allow users to save looks and items in their own personalized shop through the Google search engine. “It will feature a live data feed, allowing pictures to appear and making the site look like a high end boutique rather than a search results page,” according to British Vogue.

Designers Oscar de la Renta, Cynthia Rowley, Erin Fetherson and Tory Burch already plan to set up their own virtual stores on the site. In addition, Katie Holmes and Sarah Jessica Parker have been approached to encourage others interested in the industry to check out and participate in this new virtual innovation.
