There is always a great buzz of excitement when the newest designer scheduled to design for the GO International line at Target is announced. Then, alas, once you get to the store to purchase that adorable dress you’ve seen in hundreds of advertisements for the past few weeks, the merchandise is already picked-over and that dress is only available in the complete opposite size that you are…but there is hope.
Target has decided to resell a collection of 34 dresses from 17 designers who have previously designed for the retailer in what they are calling the GO International Designer Collective to celebrate five years of the GO International line. The designers included in the collection are Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen, and Tucker, the most recent label featured in the GO International line.
Images of the designs will be released in February 2011 for customers to plan out which dresses they will want to purchase, and the line will be available for sale on March 13, 2011. Lesson learned: mark your calendars and get there early.
