In February for New York Fashion Week, Pantone, the world-renowed authority of color, released its annual Fashion Color Report.  The trend report consists of 10 colors widely used in designers’ Fall 2010 collections.  You will not be surprised to hear that Woodbine, an army green, has made it on the list, as well as the 2010 Pantone Color of the Year, turquoise.  As quoted in the Fashion Color Report, Pantone Color Institute executive director Leatrice Eiseman says, “Building on the color palette from spring, this season’s offerings include innovative takes on fundamental basics, as well as transporting, lively colors that conjure images of travel and adventure, whether real or aspirational.”

The color report features an array of designers commenting on their inspiration, colors used, and must-have items for fall, as well as fashion illustrations.  The Pantone Fashion Color Report can be viewed here:
